Hit up some of our local gems all year round.
Go for a hike, have a fire or maybe attempt a ski or snowshoe with your kids. Many of our parks have events for kids throughout the year. Try doing a winter scavenger hunt with the kids.
A favourite of mine is La Barriere because it is just outside the city (though technically in city limits) and has a bunch of different paths as well as a really cool bridge. I have seen families snowshoeing there as well! It also has cross country ski trails in the winter.
We discovered a trove of trees that beavers have been busy gnawing and every time we come back we check their progress. There are so many great parks to check out around Manitoba!
