Another Winnipeg classic, this park located near the Perimeter Highway in the south east side of the city, has a ton of features.

July 2020: Appears to not be opening for the summer.

There are a variety of water slides including a section of smaller slides for smaller kids. There are also bumper boats, a hot tub, mini golf and concession stands.

Prices to get in start at $22 per child under 48″ tall. Tots – children under two are free, seniors 60+ free when accompanied by a paid admission. Tuesdays are BOGO 50% off which can save you a fair amount of money. For not much more you can buy all inclusive which includes mini golf and bumper boats which are otherwise around $5 each.

There are some limitations on which rides parents can ride on with their kids when it comes to the bigger waterslides, so your interpretation of value may be based on what facilities you can actually make use of. There are three toddler slides – the wider ‘river run’ one gets very busy with older kids (weirdly enough) but it was still enjoyable. The splash pad area is pretty basic but probably good for very young children tagging along with the older kids.

The activity pools runs from 1m to 1.2m deep. We brought life jackets for our kids and had no problems with being able to use them. We brought a sun shade pop up and easily found a spot under a tree to use as a home base. There are picnic table areas but they seem available to be reserved so availability may vary.

Make sure to pack sun protection and some money for snacks. There are limitations to what you can bring into the park (you can bring sealed bottled water and baby food). They do a bag check for everyone. There are affordable lockers on site for valuables. You can also buy season passes or tickets ahead of time. You can also zip out to your car and eat a snack there before returning to inside the park.

Food options are typical fare for this type of venue: chips, candy, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, ice cream, etc. Pricing seemed okay – around $5-$7
